Category - Sorting Mats

These sorting mats are a fun and interactive way of learning different categories. You can have all the items out for selected categories and have the student sort them onto the mats. You can also focus on expressive language skills by having the student state the category the item is in using the "What is it?" mat. For example, the student would say, "A cow is an animal."
